Tesla High-Voltage (HV) Battery Replacement in Sacramento, CA

Tesla HV battery work is the deepest end of what we do. We read packs at the brick level over the CAN bus — the same data Tesla’s own techs see — and repair or replace based on what the numbers say, not what a warning light implies.

Warning Signs Your Tesla Pack Needs Attention

  • Range loss beyond normal degradation (more than ~10–15% early in life)
  • BMS alerts or “maximum charge level reduced” messages
  • Charging speed capped well below what the car once did
  • Imbalance between brick voltages — invisible without proper tools

Why It Happens

Packs age unevenly: one weak brick group limits the whole pack, and Tesla’s BMS responds by fencing off capacity. Service centers usually quote full pack replacement. Depending on the failure, that’s not always the only road.

Your Options

It starts with a $99 brick-level health check — full voltage map, SOC accuracy, imbalance. From there: BMS-level fixes, module-level repair where feasible, or pack replacement quoted per vehicle with tested units. You’ll see the data behind whichever we recommend.

Our Process

  1. Brick-level diagnostic over CAN — from $99
  2. Plain-English pack report: healthy, degrading, or failing
  3. Firm quote for any work; no service-center wait times
  4. Post-repair verification with the same data, so you can compare

For everything else on your Tesla — brakes, suspension, coolant, health checks from $99 — see our independent Tesla repair page, or start with EV battery diagnostics.

Our Warranty

Every repair at AT Automotive is backed by a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty on parts and labor. If something we fixed fails within that window, bring it back and we’ll make it right.
